Household waste recycling centre winter opening hours confirmed

Winter opening hours for the household waste recycling centre are now in effect.
From 1 November to 28 February, the centre is open from 9am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday. The centre is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. A permit is required for vans and trailers. Permits are issued free of charge, subject to eligibility.
Residents are reminded that some materials are not accepted at the centre, and that charges apply for the disposal of certain items, including hardcore, plasterboard and tyres.
