Bulky waste collection
Book a collection for large household items that will not fit in your normal bins, such as furniture, mattresses and white goods.
£47.50 per item. This service continues to operate.
What you can book
Up to five items can be booked in a single collection. Items include:
- sofas, chairs and other furniture
- beds and mattresses
- wardrobes and cabinets
- fridges, freezers and other white goods
- carpets and underlay, rolled and tied
What you cannot book
The Council cannot collect building rubble, plasterboard, tyres, gas bottles or items containing asbestos. These must be taken to the household waste recycling centre.
How to book
Collections are booked online and paid for in advance. Payment is required before a collection date can be confirmed. Items should be placed at the roadside by 7am on the day of collection.
